How to Purchase Land While Abroad: A Step-by-Step Guide
Here are ten straightforward steps to becoming a Kenyan landowner from any location in the world:
- Explore Options: Visit our website or connect with our sales team on Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram to explore our diverse range of multi-location land options and get immediate responses to your inquiries.
- Investment Catalog: Upon expressing interest, we’ll email you an Investment Catalog featuring available land parcels, helping you narrow down your preferred location.
- Subdivision Map: Receive an updated subdivision map of your chosen land parcel via email (sales@nulands.co.ke) or check it online.
- Local Representative Visit: Direct us to your local representative for a complimentary site visit.
- Confirmation and Booking: After confirming plot availability, we’ll send you an online booking form to fill out and return. You’ll receive copies of the Title Deed and Mutation for land registry searches.
- Flexible Payment Options: Choose from flexible payment terms that fit your budget:
- Cash Payment (with a discount within 30 days)
- Installment Plan (up to 6 months, with a minimum 30% deposit)
- Loan Facility (with recommended bank partners, requiring a letter of undertaking from the financier)
- Payment and Receipts: Make payments to the provided bank account and receive an official Nulands Ltd receipt in soft copy, with a hard copy securely filed for your collection. You’ll also receive email statements for each payment.
- Document Submission: Alongside the online booking form, email copies of your national ID, KRA PIN, and 3 passport-size photos to sales@nulands.co.ke.
- Sale Agreement: Fill out and return the Sale Agreement form provided by Nulands Ltd.
- Completion Documents: Upon full payment, we’ll prepare:
- Application for consent to transfer (in triplicate)
- Land transfer forms (in triplicate) These documents will be sent to you as soft copies for signing and should be printed back-to-back.
- Title Deed Collection: Collect the title deed in person or authorize a representative with a signed letter from your lawyer. Upon request, we can also send the title deed to your country of residence via courier.
