Nulands Juja Gated Neighbourhoods Site Visit on 02/07/2016
It has been said that ‘seeing is believing’. On the morning of 2nd July 2016, we set out to visit Athi Plains Property in Juja, Kiambu County. This is Nulands’ most recent project that was launched at the KICC Homes Expo in April this year. Twenty people who were interested in the visit started arriving at the pickup point in Nairobi CBD from 9am. The tour vans had arrived earlier which made our logistics easier and by 9.30 we left Nairobi for Juja. Some people were picked on the way while some wished to drive themselves to the site.
At the site, we started off by introduction of the party to familiarize themselves with Nulands staff as well as with each other. A brief History of the area was then shared, the actual location of the site, social amenities available and the expected developments in the area.
In land investments, a lot of questions go through people’s mind, the party did not spare any of them. We had a great time of Questions and Answers where all queries were addressed ranging from documentation to future development plans.
We spent the rest of the time with people selecting their preferred plots. Viewing the beacons and touring the general area.
Participants were requested to fill in a trip evaluation form. From the feedback, all who came for the trip indicated that a) The trip was worthwhile b) the investment opportunity is great and many expressed desire to acquire at least one plot.
After a great morning together, the tour vans were back in Nairobi by 2 pm.
